What Is My Disney Experience?
Meet your new best friend for the trip: the My Disney Experience app. Picture this: an all-in-one magical app that's like your personal Disney sidekick. It'll help you snag those Lightening Lane spots, grab a table at that oh-so-popular restaurant, and give you a sneak peek into your daily Disney game plan. Hate waiting in lines? Who doesn't! With this app, you can sneak a peek at ride wait times, jump into virtual queues, and even unlock your hotel room with just a tap (it’s like magic!).
Getting Started with My Disney Experience
Visit MyDisneyAccount.com to begin. Follow the steps below to set up your Disney account:● Visit mydisneyaccount.com and select Create Account● Enter your email address and select Continue● If there is an existing Disney account associated with the email address you entered, you will be prompted to enter your password. If you have forgotten your password, select Having trouble logging in? to have a one-time passcode sent to reset your password● Enter your name, a password, and your birthdate● Select the Create Account buttonOnce you have created your account, you will use that same email address and password to access services across The Walt Disney Family of Companies.
This MyDisneyExperience tab will be your "Go-To" during your account setup.
For now, you will only need the blue Profile and My Family & Friends
In your Profile is where you will find:● Your Membership & Passes● Contact & Account information● All of those pesky email opt-ins● and payment information.
Be sure to change your profile picture you your favorite character!
Creating Your Family & Friends
There are 3 ways to add Friends & Family. Even by using the "import from a Disney reservation," you will end up adding them for each person. So I typically add them manually.
Linking Your Resort Reservation
Under My Plans, these 5 circles will govern over your Walt Disney World trip. ● Select the "Resort Hotel" ● Select Link Reservation to link your Walt Disney Travel Company vacation package
Add your confirmation number & Last name (L) Then Select the Friends & Family who will be traveling with you. *Note that sometimes the MDE system will automatically link the other guests. Select Done to continue
Where to Find your Confirmation Number in your confirmation email (R), and your Sweetbay Invoice (L)
After linking your reservation, you will see the Resort Hotel circle populated, as well as the Park Tickets. A date will also populate under Dining as to when your Advanced Dining Reservation date begins.
My Plans, Reservations and Tickets
This is the main section of My Disney Experience that will house your plans (itinerary). There is a second tab labeled "Tickets, Passes & Memory Maker," select this tab to review your tickets.
As we build your trip, this itinerary will grow and will include your Advanced Dining Reservations (ADRs)
